Full course description
Knowing that good oral language skills are the foundation of strong reading comprehension skills and that once a gap is created in a students vocabulary compared to their peers that gap typically widens, it is critical that educators work diligently to provide learning environments designed to close that gap and strengthen the oral language skills of all learners. This course is based on the LETRS Unit 5: Oral Language and Vocabulary activities. It is designed to share snip-its of the LETRS course that can be incorporated into the classroom to support the oral language development of our youngest learners in Pre-school - Gr 5.
